Tehachapi's Remote Public Comment Registration page.

This page is for residents and community members who wish to provide public comment remotely on an agenda item or during the general public comment period.

City Council agendas and supporting materials are posted online at least 72 hours before each regular meeting and may also be reviewed at the Office of the City Clerk, 115 S. Robinson St., Tehachapi, CA 93561.

How to Participate Remotely

  1. Scroll down to find the upcoming City Council meeting at which you wish to speak, then select "Register" and select the item(s) on which you wish to provide comments.

If you provide an email address, you will receive a confirmation email.

Important: Advance registration using the same phone number you will use to call into the meeting is strongly recommended. Registering during the meeting or calling in from a different phone number may result in delays and could cause you to miss the opportunity to comment before your item has been considered.

  1. At the start of the meeting, call (661) 443-6190 and enter meeting code 3100.
  2. Once connected, remain on the line and listen for your name. No additional phone prompts or actions are required.
  3. When your item is called, and it is your turn to speak, City staff will unmute your line and invite you to provide your comments.

A copy of any writing that is a public record relating to an open session of this meeting is available at City Hall, 115 South Robinson Street, Tehachapi, California.

 

Pursuant to G.C. Section 54957.5(b)(2) the designated office for inspection of records in connection with the meeting is the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 115 S. Robinson Street, Tehachapi, CA. Any items distributed to the City Council after posting of the Agenda Packet will be available for inspection at the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall. If you would like additional information on any item appearing on this agenda, please contact the Office of the City Clerk at (661) 822-2200.

 

The City currently provides an option for remote participation in meetings via audio only (telephonic participation). The remote call in line is (661) 443-6190 and meeting code is 3100. Remote participants must adhere to the same conduct rules as in-person attendees.
